Chandigarh to Spiti Valley Tour (Ending in Manali)

Our 9-day Chandigarh to Spiti Valley tour ends in Manali, which promises a magical journey. From there, you enjoy an incredible road trip through Shimla, Kinnaur, Spiti Valley, and finally entering Manali.

Day 1 : Chandigarh Arrival to Shimla

Your Spiti Valley journey with Incredible Journey Manali will start with a pickup from Chandigarh Airport, Railway Station, or your preferred location. From here, we will drive towards Shimla. You will enjoy the changing scenery as we leave the plains behind and enter the Himalayas. After reaching Shimla, your driver will drop you at your hotel, and then you can spend your evening exploring the local market before your overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will continue our journey towards Sarahan. We will pass through lovely mountain roads and charming villages. After arriving at Narkanda, we will enjoy a short break for tea, snacks, a hot plate of Siddu, and roadside orchard photos. Then, we will resume driving towards Sarahan. After reaching Sarahan, you first need to check into your stay. Your driver will take you to the famous Bhimakali Temple for the evening Aarti.

On day 3, we will leave Sarahan after breakfast and start our journey towards the beautiful Baspa Valley. On the way, you will enjoy amazing views of mountains, rivers, and charming villages. We will stop near Bhabanagar or Tapri for a quick tea break. After reaching Sangla, firstly, you need to check into your hotel or camp and enjoy lunch. Then, you can visit the local market or hike up to the Kamru Fort if you have the energy. You can consider exploring nearby viewpoints before your overnight stay in Sangla.

On day 4, we will start our journey to Chitkul, which is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. After spending some time exploring the village, we will head towards Kalpa. After reaching Kalpa, your driver will drop you at your hotel. Then, we will visit the nearby viewpoint to enjoy the most lovely views of the Kinner Kailash mountain range with a sunset glow.

We will leave Kalpa early in the morning to continue our journey towards Tabo. On the way, you will enjoy the changes in scenery along the Sutlej and Spiti rivers. We will stop at Nako Lake, visit Nako village, and then enjoy lunch. If time allows, we can also visit Gue Monastery. Then, we will continue our journey to Tabu, where we will visit Tabo Monastery. Then your driver will drop you at your stay for a relaxing overnight stay.

On Day 6, we will drive from Tabo to Kaza, while stopping at the famous Dhankar Monastery. This 1000-year-old monastery is located on a cliff and offers amazing views of the Spiti Valley. After spending some time exploring the monastery, we will continue our journey towards Kaza. We will arrive in Kaza by late afternoon. Then, you can check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local market.

We will leave early on day 7 and then start our journey to some of the most popular attractions around Kaza. We will visit the famous Key Monastery, Langza, and then stop at Chicham Bridge for photos. Then, we will cross Kunzum Pass before reaching the beautiful Chandrataal Lake. After reaching the campsite, we will enjoy a magical evening and overnight stay near Chandrataal.

We have to leave the Chandrataal campsite early to start our journey towards Manali. We will drive through mountain roads and cross the famous Atal Tunnel on our way. We will reach Manali by late afternoon. So, you will have enough time to relax before evening. After resting, you can enjoy exploring Mall Road and eating delicious food at Old Manali Cafes.

On the final day of your tour, we will take you to popular attractions in this beautiful Himalayan town. We will visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Tibetan Monastery, and Vashisht Temple. You can enjoy lunch at a riverside cafe in Old Manali or a restaurant on Mall Road. After lunch, we will take you to Van Vihar, and then you can spend your evening shopping or enjoying local food at Mall Road. Your driver will drop you at your hotel or preferred location, and this will end your wonderful trip with Incredible Journey Manali.

Exclusions

  • Your airfare, train tickets, and hotel stays or campsites are not covered in the package cost.

  • If you want to explore any destinations not mentioned in the itinerary, extra expenses must be paid for route deviations.

But if you need to return to Chandigarh or Delhi after completing your Manali sightseeing, we can arrange a comfortable cab service. This return transfer is not included in the package price.
